Whether you have a cozy courtyard in Frisco or a sprawling estate in Carrollton, pondless waterfalls are one of the most versatile and stunning water features we install across the DFW area. These waterfalls are perfect for both small spaces and large, luxurious yards—making them the ideal choice for any landscape. We specialize in high-end installations that turn ordinary spaces into breathtaking outdoor retreats. Their flexible design lets you feature them anywhere, from elegant front entrances to expansive backyard escapes. Let us help you create the landscape of your dreams with a custom pondless waterfall that elevates your home’s style and value.

Bring Nature into Your Yard with a Pondless Waterfall

Lonestar Pondscapes specializes in pondless waterfalls in Frisco, Plano, Dallas, Dallas County, and the surrounding areas. Our water features are designed to have a natural appearance, catering to a variety of tastes and unique landscapes. The waterfall is undoubtedly the most desired and appreciated feature in your outdoor space.

Also known as a “disappearing waterfall,” a pondless waterfall can enhance your landscaping without the need for a pond. Like a traditional waterfall, a pondless waterfall allows water to cascade and flow into a gravel basin, where it is collected and recycled back to the top. This design enables you to enjoy the beautiful sight and soothing sounds of flowing water while requiring minimal maintenance.

Pondless Waterfalls Built for North Texas

DFW’s hot summers, clay-heavy soils, and periodic water restrictions make pondless waterfalls an especially smart choice for Texas homeowners. The recirculating, closed-loop design uses far less water than you’d expect — and unlike a koi pond, there’s no risk of losing fish during a summer heat surge or a vacation. Our installations are engineered with local weather and soil conditions in mind, so your water feature looks and performs beautifully year-round.

A Backyard Water Feature That Uses Less Water Than You'd Think

Between Texas summers and the cost of keeping turf green, lawn irrigation adds up fast. The EPA estimates that landscape irrigation accounts for nearly one-third of residential water use nationwide, and that up to half of irrigation water can be wasted to evaporation, wind, and runoff from inefficient systems.

A pondless waterfall is a closed-loop system. A hidden reservoir holds the water, a pump circulates it through the stream and falls, and the same water is reused. You only top it off to replace what evaporates or splashes out.

Safe and Low-Maintenance Pondless Waterfalls

You may find yourself asking, why choose a pondless waterfall? With no standing water, a pondless waterfall offers a stunning aesthetic while alleviating any safety concerns associated with a traditional koi pond. This elegant water feature creates a serene ambiance with the gentle sound of cascading water, making it a perfect addition to any outdoor space. Moreover, pondless waterfalls are incredibly low-maintenance; they only require a simple topping off every few weeks, allowing you to enjoy their beauty without the hassle of extensive care.

Pondless waterfalls are perfect for every type of yard.

Regardless of your yard type, a pondless waterfall is a perfect fit. Its adaptability and ability to enhance any outdoor space make it an inclusive choice for all homeowners, ensuring everyone can enjoy the beauty and tranquility of a waterfall in their yard. Pondless waterfalls will fit from steep and hilly to narrow and long yards. You get the relaxing and soothing sounds of a water feature without maintaining a pond, koi fish, or the safety concerns with water.

How does a Pondless Waterfall Work?

1. Waterfall Spillway - are used to create a waterfall or stream, providing smooth, consistent, leak-free water flow.
2. Rocks & Gravel - are utilized in pondless streams to enhance their natural appearance and improve water quality through biological filtration.
3. Pondless® Waterfall Vault - is where the waterfall pump sits to protect the pump and the base of the water feature.
4. Pond Pump - circulates water and pushes water from the base of the pondless waterfall and stream to the top. It also prevents stagnation in the water feature.
5. AquaBlox® - displaces water for Pondless Waterfall reservoirs, rainwater collection projects, and other water feature applications.
6. Pond Liner & Underlayment - serves as a barrier, stopping water from seeping into the surrounding soil while also keeping soil and sediment out of the water feature.
7. Piping - the necessary plumbing to connect the water feature components.

Our team handles every component of the installation from liner to spillway, serving homeowners throughout Carrollton, Plano, McKinney, and the greater Dallas–Fort Worth area.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had neglected a fountain and pond for years and they were in dire shape: full of debris, sludge and leaves that had rotted - mosquito heaven and gross! Christian and Daniel came out early in the morning and worked diligently most of the day, not only cleaning out the two, but also diagnosing their issues and giving recommendations at various price points for how to restore them to working order and improve on their design. They were a delight to work with - professional and knowledgeable - and we look forward to using their maintenance services going forward to avoid getting in this shape again.
